Learning C, Day 10 (Back-Face Culling)

I spent about two and a half hours today on the course (more vector math) and I got back-face culling working! The next part of the course is filling the triangles, which is something I’ve been wondering how to do for a while. I can’t wait to see what I can make with the engine once it’s done. I’m thinking of making a 3D game in PICO-8 and how I’m going to optimize the scene geometry. It’ll be fun!

I was trying to make a GIF of the Blender Suzanne monkey rotating, but I couldn’t get it to loop right and then something went wrong with the recording:

I’m just going to stop while I’m ahead and not try to rerecord it xD
