Modern web design is boring and all websites look the same. I’ll prove it to you. Go to any of your other open tabs and I’ll describe it. Ok, ready? It has the logo and title in the top left, some menu options sprinkled in the header, and a search bar/icon. It uses black, white, and one accent color with two contrasting fonts. If it’s a site with accounts, the login and profile options are in the top right. If it’s a really modern site, it’ll have some long-limbed, brightly colored people doing things vaguely related to the site’s purpose.
Was that accurate, or what? Repeat this until you’re convinced.
I wonder how we arrived here, but that’s a question for another day.
