Playing “Machinarium”, #7

Today I finished playing Machinarium. Everything about it is so good. The soundtrack is amazing. The puzzles are great. The vibe is perfect. The art style and the soundtrack work together perfectly to create an atmosphere unlike any other game I’ve played.

My playthrough took 8 hours and 40 minutes. I got the game on sale for $1, but I feel like it’s worth the regular price of $15. If you can, I’d recommend playing on PC for the larger screen size. My phone screen made some small objects almost impossible to see and, in some cases, the touch controls were finicky. Like moving the view instead of interacting with the environment. Sometimes when interacting with a zoomed-in puzzle, I’d accidentally touch outside puzzle and have to wait a second before I could return to it. There were a few especially where I’d exit them every 15 seconds or so. It’s still playable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend playing on mobile if you can’t play on PC.

Overall, a very unique experience which I thoroughly enjoyed! 10/10
