Earlier I was bored and aimlessly scrolling through settings in Minecraft. I clicked on languages and, feeling a whim from the option for Shakespearean English, I scrolled down and there was Toki Pona! I never expected to find Toki Pona in Minecraft, but there it was. I enabled it and was immediately disoriented by not being able to read the menus or basically anything else. Everything is translated, even the item names. It’s so cool how searching the creative inventory for “suno” yields all the light related items, something I can’t do with English. Maybe Minecraft could be a good environment to learn Toki Pona. It can provide context like the real world and it has the hunter/gatherer aspect which the modern world lacks.
