I didn’t rest much today. I discovered that I can get almost perfect spray brushes in Krita. Almost perfect because the pixel distribution is center weighted. I found the relevant code and then spent way too much time trying to compile. In the end, nothing worked. I installed dependencies, googled, went back and forth, tried and failed. A perfect reminder of why I don’t build from source xD
Also today is a new development. I’m at the next level of hiddenness: I don’t feel God’s presence at all. Normally I feel the warmth of his smile and sense his enthusiasm. Now there’s just a void. I think it’s time for a deeper level of rest.
