Reading “The War of Art”

Today I read The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. The central theme is the idea of resistance, a force which prevents people from making creative works and becoming their truest selves. I really liked the book, but the idea of resistance didn’t resonate with me. It was still a motivating read and I’d definitely read it again. As to whether I’d recommend it: this could either be the perfect book for you or it could be insulting and the worst book you’ve ever read (seriously, the reviews are that polarized.) So I guess I’d recommend giving it a try, especially if you can get it used or from the library.
