Fall ’22, Day 90

Who am I writing for? Here’s the background behind this question: Often when I’m writing a post, I choose to include only the essential details or I try to keep them succinct. Sometimes I assume that my readers are easily bored and aren’t interested in those details. I don’t write many words because I don’t think you have the attention span or interest to read them. But what if you do? What if I’ve been writing for an imaginary reader? Someone who reads this site, but isn’t actually interested. What a contradiction. I also know that me in the future is reading these and I can always skim, but it’s hard to read what isn’t there. So from now on, I’ll try to write what I want to write and not worry so much about who’s reading.
