I feel like some of my projects have gotten lost in the grid of new posts and I don’t want to leave them behind:
- Toki Pona. I’ve lost the loop on this one. I feel like Toki Pona comes to life when spoken in the real world and I don’t know anyone who’s interested in it. I want to continue learning, I’m just not sure what the next step is.
- Assembly programming. Again, out of the loop. I’m still interested in assembly and I want to finish the course. I’m especially interested in studying the CPU and seeing the physical things which make the code tick.
- Watercolor painting. I haven’t published a painting since the end of the 30 Days of Watercolor series in June. Then in October, I posted that I got new supplies and was eager to continue. I didn’t. Oof.
To avoid this post becoming too much of a downer, here’s some of the things I did do (some of which are on-going):
- Played Minecraft
- Played Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy
- Made a drawing program
- Made some renders
- A bunch of other stuff which would be too long to put here
The plan for the holidays
A lot of the things I enjoy doing are high-energy and very goal oriented. Like programming and game development. I want to spend time this holiday season on things which are low energy and not so goal oriented. Maybe I’ll play some games; I’ve amassed quite the list of them. The upcoming posts may be less involved that usual and I hope to continue all my energy spendy projects in the new year!
