Today I went swimming. Something cool: swimming to the bottom of the pool and floating up. Watching the bubbles rise. Breaking the surface. It feels very transcendent.

Even as words inspire me, I grow tired of writing them. Is it because the wave of my words only crests softly while others crash and roar? Why am I doing this, writing little waves? Will I look up one day and discover a tsunami? And if I don’t, will perhaps one little wave of…

Guess what? Today was another one of those days! I played ping-pong, checked out a bunch of library books, and generally had a great time 😄

Today I had a great time hanging out with friends and playing ping-pong. I want more days like today.

Today I started playing Stardew Valley and I’m loving it so far. The intro is perfect, the art style is perfect, the music is perfect; everything is so good. I’m playing on my iPad and I really like the 4:3 aspect ratio. It looks so big compared to 16:9.

I’m thinking about games I want to play. Here’s a list: Breath of the Wild, Manifold Garden, The Stanley Parable, Pikuniku, Chicory, Baba Is You, Hollow Knight, Celeste, Journey, Flower, ABZU, Stardew Valley, The Beginner’s Guide, and A Short Hike. Some of them I’ve already played, but I want to play again. I’m really interested…

Okay, what is this ;-; ? To me, it looks like a blank or slightly concerned face with raised hands, like “Woah there, easy.” Or maybe someone about to play the bongos deadpan. Is it supposed to be a sad face? Because I just can’t see it that way.

I finished watching “Your Lie in April”. What words can do it justice? It’s a masterpiece, unforgettable, and very inspiring. These words are true, but they don’t do it justice. So does that convince you to give “Your Lie in April” a try? I hope it does.

I’m enjoying watching “Erased” again. I really appreciate the story setup and it’s so good even the second time around.​

I love walking in the rain. I love the clear air and the splash of my footsteps. I love standing beneath trees and watching the water dance in the parking lots.

I’m enjoying walking at night. It’s so quiet and peaceful. I also love the lighting environment at night and how different everything looks than during the day.

Today I played piano! It’s fun to ignore music theory and just play whatever. I feel like I have to unlearn a lot of what I know to enjoy playing and not worry about being “correct”.

I had a great day today playing ping-pong, Uno, and hanging out with people. Campus isn’t so empty now and neither am I.

Today I enjoyed playing ping-pong with my brother. I probably spend more time chasing the ball than actually playing, but it’s still a lot of fun!

Today I went swimming! I hadn’t been swimming in 4 years and I forgot how much I like it. Also, real life water caustics are ridiculously good.

I’m on episode 17 of “Your Lie in April”. Aaaaaaaaaaaahhh, what’s going to happen???

Sidewalks are monotonous. I really appreciate fun features like stepping stones and alternate paths. Maybe the monotony is necessary to make the fun features fun.
