I’m reading Sleep Revolution by Arianna Huffington and it’s fascinating. I periodically go on sleep research crusades instead of actually getting more sleep, but now I’m absolutely determined to not board the college sleep deprivation train.

Term 2 is starting! I’m going to write lots of papers and it’s going to be so much fun! PS: Hmm, the apostrophes in the titles of these posts are inconsistent.

So I was playing Wordle and I found another cool word: elding. It’s from Old Norse, meaning fuel or firewood. It sounds so cool and I love how it still counts as a word in Wordle (technically “eldin”).

Today I started watching Death Note. It has such a vibe going, even in the first few minutes. I also like how the story takes off with no time wasted.

Fireworks have started. I kind of like Fourth of July fireworks. I know everyone has different reasons for setting off fireworks, but I like to picture them as being extremely passionate about their independence from Britain.

I got new drawing supplies! Now I can draw things! I got a brush pen and it’s like unlimited brush in a pen. Kinda weird, but I like it.

I finished! I’m done! Until Tuesday, at least. I submitted my last assignment, played cards with friends, played ukulele for a bit, and now I might watch some anime.

I’m finishing the summer term and basically not doing anything else. I haven’t read any of my library books in days. Every day I wake up, work, study, procrastinate, study, sleep, repeat.

I’m watching Treasure Planet and Jim’s Theme by John Rzeznik really hits hard. I also like the combination of CGI and 2D animation; it has a unique look.

Finals week energy is starting to kick in. Everything vibes like looming deadlines. I don’t even have much left to do, but it still feels oppressive.

I feel like I’m becoming something of a library book fiend. I have 7 books checked out and I’m always looking for more books to read. I did manage to not check out any more when I stopped by to return some, so I guess there’s hope.

Today I finished reading Legend and now I need to read the next book in the series xD I also continued reading Harry Potter (my friends convinced me).
